Here are some examples of the work done on behalf of the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank, referenced in my resume and cover letter.

2024 year-end fundraising campaign materials

- Email version 2
These year-end campaigns feature almost all of my fundraising strategies in one place. I blend program data with ethical storytelling to appeal to peoples' heads and hearts. In addition to the writing and art direction, I work with a mailing house to purchase a bulk mail list with about 30,000 select households (income level, zip codes). That list is bundled with lapsed and small amount donors, who receive the letter printed and sent by the mailing house. Our top donors receive a version of the letter with a first class stamp and some personalization. This project takes months to plan and produce. After the mailing has reached mailboxes, I send email versions to make sure folks get the message. A thank you note is produced concurrently with the letter so that we are ready to acknowledge gifts promptly. This project grossed over $83,000 and netted $54,400. In 2025, my plan is to produce more small mailings. I'll bypass the large purchased mailing list and work on developing our current supporters while using events to attract new people.

2025 funding proposal to the Pike Place Market Foundation
- Proposal

This proposal combines descriptions of the many programs offered at the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank, while weaving in program data, finances, and the agency outlook for the year. With so much information synthesized in one place, this proposal is also used to keep the staff and board of the agency up to date.
